Membership Qualifications 
Each quadrant is to have a minimum of three representatives. The majority of the total committee shall be residents of the City of Sequim. There are currently 11 members, six of which are city residents. Representation is currently needed in the Southeast and Southwest quadrants. Download an application.

About the Committee
Sequim Speaks is a 12-19 member committee that acts as a resource for all city departments or other groups involved with projects, policy decisions, and/or action under consideration in the greater Sequim community. The committee is is divided into quadrants. Together, the committee:
  • Provides outreach for citizen input to the City Council
  • Provides information to the citizens
  • Provides reports and input to the council and staff as requested by council or deemed necessary by a majority of Sequim Speaks members
